Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct is a written contract between athletes, parents, coaches and officials to abide by the rules and regulations as well as maintain a cooperative attitude. Participation requires understanding and agreement to these standards.
Parents and Spectators
Sports must be FUN. The event is for the children — their participation and enjoyment is the most important element.
- Demonstrate the highest sportsmanship standards as role models
- Respect coaches, all children, visitors, and officials without harassment
- Refrain from accessing restricted pool deck areas
- Avoid public criticism of coaches
- Learn the sport rules
- Use respectful language at all times
- Promote positive community involvement
Athletes, Coaches, and Officials
- Participate within ALPs rules and the spirit of the sport
- Arrive prepared and on time
- Display self-control without abusive language
- Train with positive attitudes encouraging others
- Show respect to officials and opponents
- Avoid harassment or berating officials
Zero-tolerance policy for bullying, profanity, or harassment. Expulsion from the grounds will be enforced.
