Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct is a written contract between athletes, parents, coaches and officials to abide by the rules and regulations as well as maintain a cooperative attitude. Participation requires understanding and agreement to these standards.

Parents and Spectators

Sports must be FUN. The event is for the children — their participation and enjoyment is the most important element.

  • Demonstrate the highest sportsmanship standards as role models
  • Respect coaches, all children, visitors, and officials without harassment
  • Refrain from accessing restricted pool deck areas
  • Avoid public criticism of coaches
  • Learn the sport rules
  • Use respectful language at all times
  • Promote positive community involvement

Athletes, Coaches, and Officials

  • Participate within ALPs rules and the spirit of the sport
  • Arrive prepared and on time
  • Display self-control without abusive language
  • Train with positive attitudes encouraging others
  • Show respect to officials and opponents
  • Avoid harassment or berating officials

Zero-tolerance policy for bullying, profanity, or harassment. Expulsion from the grounds will be enforced.
